This addon heavily extends functionality of MyCalendar Mod to include such useful features as event types (each with its own background highlight color), ability to suggest events, ability to post right from calendar and a number of fixes such as solving alignment problems and allowing event names to be of arbitrary length. (You must have installed the original Mycalendar MOD first)
